"Pros: Excellent quality!! Has a very good picture and the Contrast ratio is awesome when it comes to playing games.

Cons: There are only 2 minor problems i have with this monitor. One is is that it doesnt fully turn off when it goes into sleep mode. It only makes the screen Black. The other problem i have is that i cant seem to get the color exactly right. I hope that might change with replacing my GeForce 7950 OC with 2 9600's."

"I purchased this monitor to enhance my digital photography capabilities and enjoyment...it doesn't disappoint. The graphics are great. However, the default color settings shouldn't be relied upon to perform color corrections to photos. Be sure to use a calibration tool (e.g. ColorVision Spyder2) to get the best results."

"Excellent monitor, vivid colors and clear text. I was expecting a lot, and this monitor did not disappoint. I did encounter some nasty blurriness and it took me 30 minutes of scrounging through the control panel to find the ''flat panel scaling mode'' settings that brought things back into crystal clear focus. With the exception of that one difficulty, this monitor makes an excellent ''other'' half of my dual monitor setup."

"Pros: Great product! Another member of the fine ViewSonic family. This is the only LCD flatscreen that allows me to not need my darn reading glasses. those out there with older eye like me will be VERY pleased with this product for sure! And NewEgg always has their super-fast shipping (I get their stuff two business days after I place an order)!

Cons: Anything can always be cheaper but for the money you get a great value.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your workstation will accommodate this flatscreen. The hutch for my computer desk just barely allowed the LCD to fit. "
